tapered wheel bearing upgrade
Переглядів 60Рік тому
the sears suburbanator gets some brand used rims with automotive style tapered wheel bearings that are adjustable and they were a great deal too. next step is off to the sandblast cabinet, then paint, mount tires, pack new bearings with grease then away it goes hopefully for many more years of reliable service!

I finally got a foot throttle that makes it much easier to drive, being that you can keep both hands on the steering wheel it makes it more controllable and safer. a big thanks to Brian @brianstractorshed2759 for all the help, it came out great!

wheelhorse commando 800 engine swap
Переглядів 2662 роки тому
this was a neat project I did for an older gentleman that wanted his wheelhorse tractor to run again, unfortunately after diagnosis the original engine had a blown rod so I retrofitted a 420cc Honda clone engine and it worked out perfectly and he was very happy with it!

It's a worthy sled .....Just put in new crank seals .
I need to finish restoring mine
Not bad at all with 2 people as well
The braps i love it
I drove 2 1250's in 1979-80 and both were 20hp. Nice tractors, snow removal attachments on one of them.
Do you still own that Ford LGT with the Loader? I want a Loader sooo badly for mine. I don't have the skill set to build one.
Any updates on this issue? im in the same boat as you. just got one of these for free and trying to bring it back to driving condition
Very nice Ive got a 7.5 on my 14foot My vessel was approved for its licensing today 🎉🎉 so I’ll be getting a 15 for it soon hopefully.
It’s easy get you a 4 foot swisher bucket. Bed post fram under the hood winch on top to pick up bucket up or down brackets to hold buket
try a 292 gp clutch puck ( it controles shifting, vary aggressive , then shim the spring or find mountain spring. you can add weight to it if it over revs . ( shifting cam can be turn and cut " strait line, not a bump" 95 octane min. do not mill head ! (I remove 1mm. from cc. cup and squish and grove the squish at 60 degrees, 145 to 155 lb's compression and it will run on 91 octane pump gas ) ps run your air box
What a beast
I have the this tractor now and she’s currently being restored to her original beauty.
Good morning, where is the best place to get the parts for a 1973 292b? Just picked one up and looking for some parts. Primarily exhaust and engine is seized. Thanks in advance!
There's certainly parts out there but it's a matter of who you know and join groups in your area and you'll be amazed. I also have a few spare engines and exhaust parts I could part with if needed
@@atractorkid7 morning by chance do you have the pipe from the cylinder to the muffler?
I tried sending the diagram, but it looked like it wouldn’t go.
Ive got a base 5 speed manual camry (1988) for my first car
I’m currently look at one I might buy but it’s missing a pto lifter and a seat do you have an idea we’re I might be able to find thos parts
I just watched this video. Funny thing is I have the same problem with my Ht20. I need to find a reverser for the snowblower
Im getting a 1886 same thing one cylinder dead. Idk if to rebuild will likely find another engine to sway. Id like to know how you did
Nice rig by the way What about the fuel usage mate
I have bros Texas star 1961 river boat or lake boat has ore holes transom solid engines a 59 7.5 Elgin Both in great shape need to sell
I think the 1556 was one of The BEST LOOKING BOLENS tubeframes. Nice tractor
Kick ass😅
Brother has one, his neighbor give him .He bought it new & left it in a shed ,it set for years. Brother dug it out & it fired right up! Runs and mows to this day.
Got one just like it
Nice machine!
me likes it. I want to build one for my gs5000 25hp pro motorwhat do you that bucket can handle 300?
How is that 1990 Camry a 25th anniversary edition, when Toyota introduced the Camry in 1983?
Hey man, I am looking at this in Kijiji I am wondering if everything runs fine? I know its not quick by any means but does it atleast accelerate to be able to keep up in traffic and any other issue with it?
What I can't hear you?
Did you sell this to a place in Pickering?
How long did you own this for? Are you in Ontario?
These 2 kids does not know how to use the mower correctly.
Did you get it running?
Lol…. Going to look at this truck today, and thought I’d find videos of a patrol on UA-cam and found the exact truck 😂
Oh wow no kidding eh, small world! If you end up with my old beast definitely keep in touch, I truly miss driving it you'll love it!
How’d it look? I seen this on Kijiji.
@@atractorkid7 Really loved it, took it for a test drive. Handled nice and has an incredible road presence. My only concern is going from my big rig driving 1000+ km/day to a RHD truck to and from work. Not sure if it would be the absolute ideal daily driver. But I’m still on the fence about it. The insurance is a bit high too because of RHD and my one accident from 2018. There’s something about it that just speaks to my inner red neck lol.
Have you checked top speed with GPS?
You don’t need a gps, you just use math to see how many mph or kmh per horse power . But weather conditions will always change the top speed
Weight is a huge factor. GPS is accurate.
Will you sale it how much
Just squirt some hairspray in that carb yep you'll try it use gas 20-1 mixture to revive that beast well come on don't use ether on a motor with no oils ok I'm out of this chat rip old rupp
Didn't see any smoke cause u didn't know how to start that old 2 stroke dang u just killed that old guy when u start a 2 stroke it better smoke
OK the leddzeplin is key for your videos stairway to heaven
I just bought one with an 8hp johnson. Its a v front and flat in the back
Yamys are stock, let's see an SRX 440
Nice I had one I am 64, :)
My Dad had one that 1966
WHY is people filming their fails 😂
Just rev up the 4 stroke that’s all
Nice
I like your truck.
Such a beauty!
Congratulations on getting this very original looking large frame, it looks in great condition and should not take a lot to get running
Thank you! I'm excited to start working on it, if all goes well but the weekend I should have another video of it's maiden voyage after a long hibernation
One other nice thing about this one from collector stand point looks like original 12 up engine a lot of these were changed out to the 14 hp, I have two 1250s and both were changed out.
Also good information to know, I'm not sure what my plans are yet with this one but I atleast want to get it running and driving
1967 first year for the large frame the half pedal on the left gives its year away only year for this pedal under it is a wheel when you are running it and want to maintain your speed you can push down on it to hold right pedal in place.
Yeah now I see what your talking about it definitely helps hold the hydro pedal because I noticed it was very free to move wherever without any restriction, so that's how it works, the other pedal holds it! I got to learn something new today thanks for that!
